Due to the recent Zanzibar (ZNZ) and Nairobi (NBO) flight cancellations, Etihad Airways is offering the following options for tickets issued from all point of sales for travel to and from Zanzibar and Nairobi on or before 31 January 2022.

Rebooking

• Rebook on an Etihad oprated flights from and to NBO and ZNZ on or before 31 January 2022

• Guests who have already started their journey (partially utilized tickets), may rebook the cities shown on the ticket on any of below OAL flight bearing in mind that transiting through the UAE is not permitted for travel on or before 31 January 2022.

Exception: For guests who originally booked return AUH-NBO or AUH-ZNZ, tickets can be re-issued DXB-NBO or DXB-ZNZ using KQ or EK.

Rebooking on KQ, QR and KL must be done only within 48 hours before flight departure.

• Countries entry restrictions to be observed and checked before rebooking the guests.

• Guests may rebook in the same or lowest available class in the originally booked cabin. No fare difference will be collected.

• If Business class is not offered or available on OAL, economy RBD can be booked (guest should be informed).

• A no show fee applies when guests book themselves on a flight which operates and they do not show up.

• ID/AD/FOC and Redemption bookings are not covered under the rebooking policy.

• Please ensure the PNR and endorsement is updated with the remark "SKCHG CW005-2021 SKD CANCELLATION”.

Cancellation/refund for travel on or before 31 January 2022

• Free refunds are permitted for all impacted guests due to travel on or before 31 January 2022.

• A refund on partially used tickets must be calculated on a pro-rata basis of the sectors flown.

• Guests may contact teir booking source for refunds.  

• Please ensure the PNR is updated with the remark "SKCHG CW005-2021 SKD CANCELLATION”.
